 Steve Peterson, CEO of SkyHwy, brings over 35 years of distinguished experience in government, aviation, and technology leadership. His career with the U.S. Department of Agriculture includes pivotal roles such as Program Manager, where he oversaw a $75M Salesforce program and managed 20 technical contractors, and IT Specialists, managing $5M in IT services sales in 2024. In earlier roles at USDA as a Business Development Manager, he negotiated over $8M in annual recurring revenue for the USDA Data Center. Steve’s expertise extends to the Department of Health and Human Services, where he established a Salesforce services line of business. In aviation, his FAA Airframe & Powerplant certification and decade-long tenure at Delta Air Lines as an A&P Mechanic highlight his hands-on expertise. He is also an FAA certified drone pilot holding his Part 107 certificate. A U.S. Air Force veteran with a secret security clearance, Steve also holds a B.S. in Aviation Maintenance from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Magna Cum Laude, is a PMP certified project manager, and is a Salesforce certified Administrator.
